This strange world stuck in cyberspace,
Where poetry so vainly sits,
But doesn’t get a lot of hits.
Ha!
I have about 750 actual blog followers now and no more hits than I had after about 6 months in my first year when I might have had a hundred. Good readers are hard to find. Thanks for being a good reader of my blog.
Don’t mention it – I enjoy reading your poetry and the poems of other authors that you post. Yes, I know what you mean, I don’t have that many followers and I follow few but I guess having a few readers who seem to appreciate one’s efforts (well most of the time) makes it worthwhile posting here. I much prefer here to the poetry forums which have some pretty nasty types in residence and which I don’t think, (despite their opinions), make a positive contribution to one’s writing. Thanks to you as well for reading and commenting.
