Politicians know little of power,
For they live in an ivory tower.
In an absence of gales,
When the sun also fails,
They will only have it for an hour.

The vampire that we call the ABC,
It sucks its life-blood from the public purse.
Its far-left propaganda isnโ€™t free;
It costs a billion, and what is far worse,
It isnโ€™t just the left that fund this curse,
For all of us give to this thirsty bat.
This Dracula in poor disguise we nurse,
And so the ABC grows sleek and fat,
And like a smug and condescending brat
It thinks it is untouchable, secure,
As all about it spreads its stinking scat โ€”
Blights all it touches with its foul manure.
The ABC once was a source of light,
But now itโ€™s just a pesky parasite.

Homo sapiens, they are the ones.
They are wise, all the daughters and sons;
And they think and they plan,
And so dominates โ€” man.
(And thatโ€™s why chimpanzees donโ€™t have guns).

Getting a bit tired of these crazy animal stories โ€” you know what I mean:

โ€œLion rescues baby antelope from crocodile infested river! โ€œ
โ€œKiller whale takes injured seal to hospital!โ€
โ€œEagle catches falling baby in mid air and delivers it to motherโ€™s arms!โ€
โ€œUnconscious man saved from speeding train as millions of ants drag him from railway tracks!โ€

No need to over-inflate animal IQs or credit them with human characteristics. Keep it up and pretty soon we wonโ€™t be allowed to eat them โ€” I guess thatโ€™s the idea.

Impeach the bad boy Boris! Hear our cry!
But weโ€™re still counting votes! Donโ€™t jump the gun!
The Tories won, so surely we will die!
Impeach the bad boy Boris! Hear our cry!
But we no longer do impeachments…….sigh…
Since Dundas no impeachments have been done.
Impeach the bad boy Boris! Hear our cry!
But weโ€™re still counting votes! Donโ€™t jump the gun!

Leaving Gondwana

Now all alone, north-east it slowly drifts.
Just inch by inch the mighty mass it slides.
An island of gigantic size โ€” it shifts,
As on its shores now beat the timeless tides.
Upon a sea of molten rock it glides;
It slips โ€” itโ€™s driven by a starry force โ€”
An engine that within its body hides,
Propelling it far from its primal source.
It journeys on a strange uncharted course,
Escaping from its motherland; its home
Now far behind, yet it feels no remorse โ€”
Young continents, like children, tend to roam.
No trail it leaves; there is no wake to west.
It never tires, and never will it rest.

I merely wish to have my share of meat.
Well weโ€™ve decided meat is not for you.
But without flesh my meal is not complete!
I merely wish to have my share of meat.
Donโ€™t tell me what I can and cannot eat!
Just settle down and eat your lentil stew.
I merely wish to have my share of meat.
Well weโ€™ve decided meat is not for you.

Theyโ€™ve taken advice from The Woke,
So litter and undergrowth choke
The bush โ€” burningโ€™s banned,
So roos, possums, and
Koalas all go up in smoke.

Collectivism doesnโ€™t work my friends;
How many times do you have to be told?
When communists take over freedom ends,
As hope and truth are banished to the cold.
The powerful then gather up the gold,
And give a little to their useful fools.
And all the rest must do as they are told,
Including giving up the family jewels.
Old Bernie and J Corbyn are just tools
Used by their hidden masters to gain power โ€”
String puppets, and the puppeteers are ghouls
Who pull upon their strings from ivory towers.
The left and communists share the same bed;
Beneath their green facades they all are red.

We sit upon a whirling tilted sphere,
That hurtles through a vacuum at high speed.
And if you donโ€™t think this is rather queer,
You are my friend, a strange fellow indeed.
The Sun (an atom bomb) it is agreed,
We circle once a year. A satellite,
The moon we call it โ€” like a silver bead,
It shines upon us on a moonlit night.
The stars above on starry nights give light,
And shooting stars sometimes at night they fall,
And though they are to us a splendid sight,
Theyโ€™re meteors โ€” not really stars at all.
Who set in motion this great cosmic dance?
Or could it all have happened just by chance?

It is the last example of its kind.
It hides amongst the jumble in a drawer.
But to its fate the last straw is resigned.
It is the last example of its kind.
It knows that its death warrant has been signed;
That itโ€™s the one remaining straw outlaw.
It is the last example of its kind.
It hides amongst the jumble in a drawer.
