In a pool down in Guyana
There’s a ravenous piranha.
By the pool there’s an iguana
Carrying a ripe banana
While he walks a high liana.
Should he trip on his banana
And fall from the high liana
To the pool of the piranha
The unfortunate iguana
Won’t be living in Guyana.
For the Guyanese iguana,
Lately of the high liana,
Will be found in a piranha
(In a pool down in Guyana)
Blended with a ripe banana.

I chuckled.
Glad you liked it – happy New Year by the way.
Dennis, I’m so impressed.
Short, witty wordplay, very witty wordplay, stupendously comical theme -and with a message of course, that’s also clear.
It would appear you don’t get my posts by mail. I have something for you in my lastest post.
Thanks and thanks for the mention on your blog.
Gross, but hysterically funny. Very good job!
Glad you liked in Sandra.
Just discovered your work. This one was great.
Thank you.
