๐’๐ญ๐š๐ฒ ๐’๐š๐Ÿ๐ž!

โ€œStay safe!โ€ โ€” it has replaced the phrase: โ€œTake care.โ€
โ€œStay safe!โ€ is now becoming hard to bear.
โ€œStay safe!โ€ โ€” should I stay safe tucked up in bed?
โ€œStay safe!โ€ โ€” are streets all littered with the dead?
โ€œStay safe!โ€ โ€” so is my safety now assured?
โ€œStay safe!โ€ โ€” with all this safety I am bored!
โ€œStay safe!โ€ โ€” I canโ€™t stay safe! Not all the time!
โ€œStay safe!โ€ โ€” although it isnโ€™t quite a crime,
Itโ€™s just a somewhat mindless thing to say;
For life is dangerous, therefore โ€” Good Day!

The ChiComs are bad? Ya donโ€™t say!
But they were our pals yesterday!
In those recent times
We knew of their crimes,
But smiled and looked the other way.

The plague has passed; the reaperโ€™s scythe is sheathed!
Though half the people lie beneath the loam.
If doctors of the plague can be believed,
The plague has passed; the reaperโ€™s scythe is sheathed.
Go to each house and tell the poor bereaved:
(Thatโ€™s if there is a living soul at home)
The plague has passed; the reaperโ€™s scythe is sheathed!
Though half the people lie beneath the loam.

They are basically aerial rats,
And they plaster the world with their scats.
They are full of disease,
And they do as they please.
I suggest we exterminate bats.

You never thought that it would come to this?
A crisis, it excuses such excess.
These clowns, you thought, were just taking the piss โ€”
You never thought that it would come to this.
Their useful fools will salivate and hiss:
โ€œItโ€™s for the common good!โ€ Come on confess โ€”
You never thought that it would come to this โ€”
A crisis, it excuses such excess.

Big Brother the masses is guiding,
As in their safe spaces theyโ€™re hiding.
But come out they must
When settles the dust.
The virus, its time it is biding.
