The old man has seen plagues and war,
But not such foolishness before.

He stares out from his lonely cave,
And thinks the Swedes are rather brave.

Heโ€™d take his chances โ€” stand and fight,
But that no longer is his right.

They say they wish to keep him well.
Heโ€™d tell them all to go to Hell.

Old friends and places heโ€™ll not see,
If he dies in captivity.

It seems we are now on a footing of war.
But without the bullets, the bombs and the gore.

Stay 6 feet apart or youโ€™re bound to get sick.
Obey, or Iโ€™ll prod you with my stasi stick!

If youโ€™re feeling crook then stay isolated.
Weโ€™ll pay you to shelter safe under your bed.

As fast as we can we are printing new money.
Youโ€™ll soon have that paper you need for the dunny.

The feminine triumphs, the masculine falls.
It seems that our leaders no longer have balls.
