Those spinning blades on the horizon
Mean your power bills will be risin’.
We’re sitting on a tank of gas;
Who comes to power? — another ass.
Our coal would last a thousand years;
But brightly burn, irrational fears.
Rent-seekers drain the public purse;
But “Climate Change” is far far worse.
Go nuclear? No, that won’t fly;
The science, the ignorant deny.
Then should we drill coal-seam gas wells?
Of course we should, but solar sells.
Okay, but we need base-load power!
Oh dear, there’s one born every hour.
