Hail the Swedes

Give them credit for they still have guts.
They chose freedom with no ifs or buts.
They refused to lock down
Any city or town.
We surrendered to cowards and nuts.

They are known for their glumness and gloom —
Scandinavian prophets of doom.
So it’s strange now to say
That they went their own way —
They’re that damned elephant in the room.
