Shivering in Summer?
Now listen up! – I am so old,
I remember when summers were cold –
Before global warming;
Before mass-conforming;
Before such untruths could be told.
Before scientists were bankrolled;
Before foolish minds were controlled.
No! – we had heat-waves,
Now boffins are slaves –
They’ve traded their ethics for gold.
