Don’t choose anger, crave vengeance, or hate.
Embrace love, and appease and placate.
Just go on as before;
Keep no guard at the door;
Carry on, people – accept your fate.

Express sorrow and woe.
(But don’t mention the foe)
Carry on with hashtags,
And with memes and with flags;
Carry on, and just go with the flow.
