Innocent Issues

When have we dropped as far as we can go?
When have we reached the bottom of the well?
When have the western nations sunk so low,
They can but rise, or else descend to Hell.
Is there a warning? Does there ring a bell?
No, but the signs are clear to open eyes —
The crimes committed and the burning smell
Of flesh that is our own, but never cries —
That bursts into the light and quickly dies.
Yet for this damned destruction do we weep?
Oh no, we cloak the crime with smiles and lies.
We gladly sow, then prematurely reap.
We pull from fertile earth the sprouting seeds,
And then discard them, as one would with weeds.

To the Breakers

The end of a long voyage is now reached.
Seaworthy she once was, and too, well-found.
But soon her rotted timbers will be breached.
For though wise sailors with their lead-lines sound
And cry: “Reverse or we will run aground!”
There is no slowing, it’s full steam ahead,
The course is set – they are disaster bound.
Her crew will pay a price for all the dead –
Each tiny body with its cruel crushed head
And splattered brain – each murdered little child –
A human being, ruined, wrecked, and red
With sacrificial blood – God’s gift defiled.
The ship ploughs on towards the breaking waves;
In its foul wake the slain sink to their graves.

Doctor Death’s World Tour

I hear each story – sometimes shed a tear;
But wield my weapons for the woman’s sake.
I make the little devils disappear.
They can’t fight back, so it’s a piece of cake.
It’s sad I know, but with the cash I make,
It’s on a worldwide cruise I soon will go.
Old Europe, and the Med, Geneva’s lake,
And India, the tropics where winds blow
So warm, and too, the land of ice and snow –
Siberia – the steppes so vast and wide.
I’ll see the deserts, and the great Nile flow
In Egypt – on a camel I will ride
To see the sphinx – I’ll climb the pyramids.
I need a break from daily killing kids.

By the hen and the cock was the fertile egg made.
It was then by the hen was the fertile egg laid.
Has the hen the sole right to crack open its shell
Long before the chick’s hatched? – Surely cocks count as well.

Destruction of potential wealth?
We’ll simply call it “women’s health”.

To get this done I’m forced to leave!
I see – they forced you to conceive?

That’s fixed, there’s now no need to roam.
In Ireland, kill your kids at home.

It ain’t a child – it’s just a thing!
(That when grown up can dance and sing.)

It’s really inconvenient….
Death sentences are lenient?

The mother’s mind, it matters most.
(Excusers for a deadly host.)

But fewer babies – ain’t that best?
So thinks the fast declining West.

I have the right, so I will kill!
(It’s murder when you miss that pill.)

The Irish are crying with joy.
They’ll soon have the right to destroy
The helpless – what progress!
A new sin to confess!
The priest asks: “A girl or a boy?”

“Oh father! I have no idea.”
The girl in the box sheds a tear.
“If you’ve killed a son,
Or a daughter – it’s done,
And you must live with it, my dear.”
