Youth Truth
We all do stupid things when we are young;
For wisdom tends to come a bit too late.
Though praise to youthfulness is loudly sung,
We all do stupid things when we are young.
An ear we may lend to a lying tongue
That seeks, with sugared words, to spread its hate.
We all do stupid things when we are young;
For wisdom tends to come a bit too late.

I tested the triolet a couple of times and decided it wasn’t for me, but you do quite well.

Yes, Tom Riley writes a lot of them, so I decided to give the form a go — so far so good.
