Horses for Cortez
She will muster her socialist forces
To make bridles for capitalist horses.
When the capitalist horses are tamed,
Much more of their oats may be claimed.
And no “neigh!” may be written or spoken,
Once capitalist horses are broken.
On a socialist horse she will ride,
And its saddle won’t be to the side.
There will be an ass with a side-saddle
For old Bernie – Cortez likes to straddle.
Old Bernie will sit on his ass,
And follow the Latino lass.
She is young – has no wisdom or brains,
But she has a firm grip on the reins.
Cortez, heroin of the poor!
The socialist conquistador!
It’s strange how many fail to see that it is capitalism and our freedoms that made our nation great because they give people the opportunity to be all they want to be.
It’s the same here – rise and fall I guess…..
