As a nation’s iron will turns to rust,
Bronze statues are biting the dust.

This makes me so, so, so, so SO ANGRY! And you’re right. It’s because the people who know better in this country don’t have the guts to stand up and take control of the situation. They are all wimps. Donald Trump isn’t too wimpy to say something, but I honestly think he’s so overwhelmed with all the other hell coming down on him and his family that he probably can’t even think about this situation much right now. It’s got to be at least about 25th on his list of battles to fight.
Technically the U.S. has more individual freedom than us (due mainly to your constitutional amendments I suppose) and yet you are well ahead of us (or should I make that behind us) with regard to such tyrannical actions as the removal of statues etc.. It isn’t an issue here despite the fact that many of our founders etc. and their statues are despised by the left. So far the only incident I’m aware of was the defacement of a statue of Captain Cook with paint.
I may have to end up moving to Australia yet. I think I could live in Australia or Israel. I couldn’t stand living in any other nations. Of course, if we lose Trump next election and things get worse, maybe Texas will secede. They’ve certainly threatened it long enough. But if they do, even though I dislike Texas, I’d move there.
I started a novel a few years ago about a government takeover (by the conscientious citizens on the Right), but the plot keeps getting changed due to our worsening situations here. I can’t seem to settle on which evils are the worst — because there are so many —– and my plot is getting out of hand at this point. It’s like having to start the story over again and again because the antagonist keeps growing more evil and out-of-control. I’m having a hard time figuring out how there can be a happy ending. Of course, I’ve interrupted work on that book to write two others in the meantime, but at some point, I’d like to finish it.
Though zealous snowflakes shout amen,
The South is bound to rise again.
Well hopefully some of the statues will survive and also rise again.
