If relations with neighbours are tense,
Then it’s clear that it makes lots of sense
To inspect and survey,
And without a delay
Then get busy and put up a fence.

Maybe, if he had thought it would have fit into the poem, he would have added, “And walls make even better neighbors.” 🙂
