Appeal to the brains soft and tender;
A sense of compassion engender.
Then open the gate
To purveyors of hate,
And raise the white flag of surrender.
There’s a chilling part of The Green Mile where the wrongly convicted big black guy tells the warden what really happened and how the murderer of two little girls who were sisters used their love against them (to keep them quiet). Here, ISIS is using the love that nations have against those nations.
Your limerick is slightly satanic:
you joke about violence Islamic.
(the form’s limitations
can heighten frustrations –
but poetry eases the panic.)

Oh, I missed this one somehow. But it’s good. And I listened to a former Muslim terrorist share — after his dramatic conversion to Christianity — about the specific plans the Muslim nations have for overcoming the U.S. and all the other Western nations. The prescribed process involves planting large families into communities and having them function as “peaceful” citizens — gradually working to sway the public into allowing them more and more influence and power. Then they are to make the move to basically “take over” through their own sharia law. They expect that most of the national citizens will have been deceived into compliance, but if there is still any resistance from the national citizens, then the “peaceful” Muslims are to resort to violence as necessary to force compliance. The man outlined the whole plan and explained how the Mosques are not actually religious centers as much as political strongholds that are dedicated to accomplishing this take over and preparing the Muslim “friends and neighbors” to carry out their purpose.
