We’re Iraqis! – We’re Turks! – Lebanese!
We come here and do as we please.
Don’t call us Australian!
It seems to us alien;
Those Aussies are chalk – we are cheese.
Same problem here, of course. I keep trying to get my next article on the topic written, but all kinds of other responsibilities keep getting in the way, and then I lose my train of thought. I find it’s easier to write a poem about something that doesn’t involve my personal feelings, so I do that and put off the article for one more day.
