Was once an actress and an actor
Turned to actors overnight,
With fashion the deciding factor;
Thespians had seen the light.
Was once a husband and a wife,
Came partnerships, they disappeared,
A partnership for part of life,
With sacred bonds no more revered.
Was once a heroin and hero
Now but hero loosely used,
No courage needed – can be zero,
Just a word that’s been abused.
Was once a woman, and a man
Who showered her with love so tender.
Didn’t fit the social plan
That propagates the wars of gender.
